Fake grass likened to asbestos

Inhaling carbon nanotubes present in artificial turf could be as harmful as breathing asbestos.
Carbon black nonotubes make up to 30% or more of car tyres, the same car tyres that are used to create the tyre crumb used on artificial turf.
It is the long thin nature of carbon black nanotubes that has scientists drawing comparisons between them and asbestos as they look and behave the same, leading to Mesothelioma, a deadly cancer to the membranes lining the bodies internal organs (particuly the lungs).
