Sir Walter uses less water

The final conclusion to a 2 year study done by the University of Western Australia to determine the most water efficient type of grass for the Perth Metropolitan area has showed that Australias most popular Soft Leaf Buffalo, Sir Walter, is the most responsible choice for householders.
The study tested the water evaporation rates (water usage) of the 4 main species of turf used in Perth, couch (wintergreen), kikuyu (village green), zoysia (empire) and soft leaf buffalo (Sir Walter) and found that over both years the study was carried out, Sir Walter Premium Lawn Turf clearly used the least amount of water.
